Installation
A home solar energy system installation starts way back with the Solar Shop Australia R&D and Procurement teams that work to select the right technology partners to make sure we have the right stock, at the right price for Australia solar customers. After you purchase a home energy system the process moves like this:
Scheduling
Along with battling global solar system component demand issues, our scheduling team manages 1,000's of installations a month across Australia, juggling inner-city and regional locations, days of the week, and times of the day with the ever-present influence of the weather.
We appreciate our customers patience with all these issues as we work to deliver you the power of good.
Installation
On the day of installation our State operations management oversees the pick-and-pack of the individual deliveries, and our warehouse team load up our installers.
Delivery
On the day, our team meet with you on site to discuss the installation process.
Framing
Our qualified installers lay down the framework and position the panels as your system was designed.
Electrical
Our Clean Energy Council accredited electricians wire up the system, connecting the panel arrays with the inverter, and test the output of the system.
Grid-connection
We will have a "Permission-to-connect" prior to the installation from the relevant authorities. This just means that we are allowed to install your system on your property.
If you do not have an appropriate meter installed we will arrange this to happen. It usually takes two to four weeks to arrange.

With a bit of a run through of the standard user guidelines, a flick of the switch, and your feeling the power of good - every day.
Post-installation
Following installation, and your transition to a solar-energy generating world, our customer service team will follow up with you to ensure your system is performing well. We'll also invite you to join our power of good community, with other solar people sharing the good they're doing in their communities.
As a further demonstration of the power of good, you will also be invited to participate in our referral program, where you can earn extra income simply by referring others to 'go solar' with Solar Shop Australia.
