New credit license makes solar even more accessible
Solar Financial Solutions, the financial division of Solar Shop Australia, has become Australia's first solar provider to receive approval for an Australian credit license from the national regulator, ASIC. Solar Financial Solutions became a fully licensed financial lender, in line with the Government's revised criteria for lending.
The license allows Solar Shop Australia to make solar more accessible by replacing upfront costs with a series of low fortnightly repayments and securing the loan against the solar panels that are installed.
