This LED Downlight created by IOGEAR uses the standard halogen downlight fitting (MR16), making it a simple, easy process to replace them with your existing halogen downlights.

At only 5W, this LED downlight puts out an impressive 35W equivalent, saving up to 90% of electricity compared with a 50W halogen downlight.  Additionally, as the LED downlight only consumes up to 5W of electricity, there is no heat offset, thus providing a far safer, greener alternative to halogen downlights.

Note: Although these lights are a direct replacement for halogen downlights, it is recommended that they are used in conjunction with a low wattage transformer.
