Air Land Tower Kit 8.2m
The AirX 27 Foot Guyed Tower Kit installs in a few hours.
Includes everything except pipe and anchors.
Guyed towers are the standard for simple and durable tower installations. These towers are tilt-up for easy erection. All parts are threaded, so no welding is required. All parts are included except the 1.875" steel pipe. The AIR-X wind turbine requires a 1 ½" pipe for the last 3 feet.
Please note: This kit includes galvanized steel cable, not stainless steel cable.
The 27 foot tower kit includes:
1 x Base Connector
1 x Lower Wire Set (160 ft. pre-cut)
2 x Base Staples
2 x 3/8"x1-1/2" Bolt
2 x 3/8" Locknut
4 x Cable Thimbles
8 x Cable Clamps
Pipe Pieces Required (to be obtained locally):
Tower Kits use 1-7/8 inch (47.5 mm) Outside Diameter Steel Tubing
1 x 24 foot (7.2m) length for tower
1 x 3 foot (0.9m) length for tower
1 x 6 foot (1.8m) length for tower base
We recommend using 'Schedule 40' pipe with a minimum wall thickness of .140 inch (3.6 mm). For sites with a maximum wind speed of 100 mph or less, 'Schedule 20' pipe with a minimum wall thickness of .090 inch (2.3 mm) may be used.
