Each lantern is powered by a super-bright LED which automatically turns on once darkness falls, and after a full day of bright sunlight will stay on until morning.
The solar panel charges a AAA rechargable battery which can be easily replaced.
The lanterns come in a weatherproof black plastic finish, and stand approx. 25cm out of the ground (37cm in total including ground stake)
For best results, place the lanterns in an area that receives full sunlight and is not affected by shading.
