An excellent value for money and popular unit with the campers.
It's a BIG panel compared to crystalline so make sure you've got the room to take it. If you do have the room, don't hold back. Unlike crystalline solar panels which have a +/-10% rating, this panel has a +10% rating so you get what you pay for.
Crystalline-Si PV modules lose some power-generating capability with rises in temperatures. But Amorphous-Si PV modules generate higher power during summer time.
Kaneka's amorphous silicon PV module has superior light absorption per nominal watt power compared with crystalline silicon. Compared with mono-crystalline silicon PV modules or poly-crystalline silicon PV modules, it generates considerably more energy per nominal watt power.
Kaneka's amorphous silicon is extremely thin compared to regular crystalline. Infact, it is 1/600th of the thickness!
