Outback Remote Temperature Sensor
The Outback Remte Temperature Sensor (RTS) is used for accurate battery measurements.
It is used for the MX-60 or any of the inverter/chargers.
A battery's state of charge fluctuates with temperature. The Outback MX-60 or any of the Outback inverter/chargers compensate for this fluctuation to ensure your batteries get the best quality charge.
When you are using multiple inverters and MX-60 MPPT's with a HUB4 or HUB10, only a single RTS is required.
