New Feed In Tariff For Victoria

Talk on a Victorian Feed In Tariff is starting to take shape.

The details of the scheme are a bit sketchy but we've put toghether a summary.

The Feed In Tariff starts Starts in 2009 (next year)

The amount is 60c/kWh and like South Australia it seems to be on net export – not gross production.

The maximum systems size is 2kW.

The ACT will also be announcing a Feed In Tariff shortly.

Feed-in tariffs have proven to be very successful overseas which has resulted rapid uptake of solar energy.
