Solar Shop has a range of UPS's available ranging from the home office up to industrial applications. 

There are three different types of UPS's available:


Type of UPS Description
Off Line Standby A basic and economic form of power protection suited to home PC use. It is not recommended for use in business applications.
Line Interactive The UPS monitors and regulates mains power and swithes on the UPS when there is a power failure. The reaction time of the Nikko Line Interactive range of UPS is less that 2 milliseconds. This type of UPS is available in both pure sine wave and modified sine wave outputs
On Line The load is supplied by the UPS continuously and is not see mains power. This ensures pure 240Vac 50Hz sine wave at all times. In the event of a blackout, there is no delay in the UPS coming on line to power the load. This type of UPS is often used to protect expensive and delicate equipment from low quality mains power
