Roof mount kit with seal
Simple roof top tower mounts offer easy low cost installation for single or multiple AIR wind generators.
These kits are designed with effective built-in vitabration isolation mounts.
Installs on the side of a building or through the roof. An optional roof seal is available.
The Air-X Roof Mount kit includes:
4 x Vibration Isolators
2 x Base Plates
2 x Clamp Inserts
2 x Clamp Straps
4 x 5/16"x1" Bolts
4 x 5/16" Lockwashers
2 x Safety Leash
1 x Roof Seal
Additional Parts Required (to be obtained locally):
1 x 1-7/8" (47.5 mm) Outside Diameter Steel Tubing - Maximum 12' (4m) length
8 x 1/4" (6mm) Lag Bolts with Washers
We recommend using 'Schedule 40' pipe with a minimum wall thickness of .140 inch (3.6 mm). For sites with a maximum wind speed of 100 mph or less, 'Schedule 20' pipe with a minimum wall thickness of .090 inch (2.3 mm) may be used.
Please note: While the isolators will significantly reduce vibration, we recommend standalone towers be used whenever possible.
